THE NGO REPORT TO THE UN COMMITTEE ON THE RIGHTS OF THE CHILD
ACYA has just completed their NGO report to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child. The report will be released at the ACYA AGM on 17 September 2010.
The Government issued its 3rd & 4th Periodic Report in November 2008.
The Children’s Commissioner issued a report in November 2008.
In addition matters affecting children have been addressed in the Universal Periodic Review meetings with the UN Human Rights Council. There has also been a Meeting of the Government with the Committee Against Torture.
